Worst Dressed At 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards: Amy Adams, Nina Dobrev, More

While there were plenty of wins at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards, there were several losses and we’re not just talking about awards. When stars arrived at the blue carpet, which was used in lieu of the traditional red carpet, certain celebrities just failed to make impressive style statements.

Instead, they just ended up with complete and utter fashion fails. Although there’s no denying the tremendous amount of talent that walked the blue carpet at the 24th annual award ceremony, some of their wardrobe choices were just unacceptable.

“The Vampire Diaries” alum Nina Dobrev arrived on the blue carpet wearing a red lace Valentino dress. While Dobrev didn’t look absolutely terrible, her ensemble wasn’t really that great either.

Amy Adams had a victorious night inside the 24th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards where she tied with Patricia Arquette for best actress in a limited series or movie made for television thanks to her work in “Sharp Objects.”

“I actually can’t think of a more beautiful thing than a tie, because there really isn’t a winner when we get to do such great work and we have such wonderful opportunities,” Adams said during her acceptance speech.

Meanwhile, on the blue carpet, her appearance was pretty basic due to her navy Zac Posen gown that made her look ordinary, despite her extraordinary acting skills.
