Princess Diana did not have the chance to see her grandchildren. As such, royal fans are wondering whether or not she would be allowed to spend time with them if she were still alive.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fans are wondering what life would be like for Princess Diana if she were still alive since she is no longer married to Prince Charles.

Justin Mihalick, a teacher of social sciences, believes that the late Princess of Wales would be permitted to spend time with her grandchildren. Mihalick said that there is no reason for Prince William and Kate Middleton to ban Princess Diana from hanging out with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

In fact, during some of their interviews, Prince William and Middleton have both revealed that they share stories about Princess Diana to their children.

“Princess Diana was close to her sons as boys and those bounds would not likely have withered. The palace, the Queen, and Prince Charles would have honored Diana’s roles as mother and grandmother no matter what interpersonal or public strains there were,” he wrote.

Ernest W. Adams also thinks the same way. He said that other divorced members of the royal family are also allowed to see their grandchildren and children.

Adams added that Sarah Ferguson will most likely be involved in the life of her future grandchildren with Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank. Ferguson is no longer an official member of the royal family since she’s already divorced from Prince Andrew.

Todd Bartholomew, a self-confessed neo-monarchist, said that the decision to allow Princess Diana to see her grandchildren will entirely be up to Prince William and Middleton. When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their own children, the royal couple would also make the same decision.

As of late, Markle has not spoken to her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., so it is highly unlikely that the former lighting director would be involved in his grandchild’s life.

But the same cannot be said about Princess Diana because she had a good relationship with Prince Harry when she was still alive.
