  • WrestleMania is set to be held on April 2 and 3
  • The event will take place at AT&T Stadium in Texas
  • Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Champion

WWE superstar John Cena reacted to the upcoming showdown between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.

Reigns and Lesnar are set to face off against each other in a 'Title vs Title' fight and the winner would walk away with both Universal Championship and the WWE Championship.

Cena, who is tied with Ric Flair for the most world titles (16), heaped praise on Lesnar in his latest interview, acknowledging the Beast Incarnate’s display of character depth.

"He [Lesnar] totally can do it all, he’s not just a strong guy, and an agile guy, he has such depth of character. And the fact that he was holding in these promos for so long and unleashing them now—truthfully, it shows how good, and how patient and how smart he is," Cena told Forbes.

Lesnar lost his WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley, who received help from Reigns at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Lesnar then went on to win the world title for a seventh time by single-handedly eliminating all other opponents (Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, AJ Styles, Riddle, and Austin Theory), except Lashley, who was removed early in the match due to a concussion protocol.

Reigns, meanwhile, is close to completing 600 days as the Universal Champion and is currently the biggest heel in the entire WWE. The 13-time WWE champion Cena hailed Reigns for his growth as a character on WWE TV over the last couple of years.

"And Roman has grown so much from that match we saw years ago. And now it is truly a coin-flip. These are two of the best guys, at their peak, fighting for the most important prize with narrative and story behind it. And each one truly believes in themselves and their own truth," added Cena.

WrestleMania 38 is going to be a two-day affair with Reigns and Lesnar’s match closing out the event Sunday night (April 3) at AT&T Stadium in Texas. Meanwhile, The Undertaker is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1, as a part of WrestleMania week. Among the special guests for the event are going to be The Deadman's reel brother The Kane, Shaun Michaels, and Triple He, among many others, according to the WWE Company.

Reigns beat up Lesnar at the Madison Square Garden Live Event earlier this month. As a result, the Beast Incarnate appeared on Friday's SmackDown even though he was not scheduled to feature in it. The WWE Champion then claimed he was coming for blood at WrestleMania.
