It’s humorous how “WWE 2K16” just came to consoles last week and now, rumor has it that the game will be coming to PC soon. This shouldn’t be too surprising, considering that “WWE 2K15” was also ported to PC sometime after it was released in consoles. If this keeps happening, it seems like this will be a yearly tradition for the wrestling series.

According to What Culture, two German game sites have already stated that the game will be coming out later this year. The dates seem to vary as the PC version might come out in Nov. 30 or Dec. 31, in time for the holidays.

2K has yet to confirm if a PC version is in the works, but it seems likely since last year’s game did eventually come to computers. What’s interesting about this is that the PC version came with all of the downloadable content (DLC) for consoles, with the exception of WWE Diva Paige, who was a season pass exclusive character.

Should the PC version of “WWE 2k16” come with all of the DLC, the game will come out sometime after “Wrestlemania” season, which is still a long way to go. Of course, 2K Games could also release the game as it is and make PC gamers purchase the additional content like they do console users.

Wrestling Inc. pointed out that rumors for a PC version of “WWE 2K15” began circulating around this time as well, so it’s interesting to see it happen again. More so, because “WWE 2K15” did eventually hit PC and it looks like “WWE 2K16” might as well.

This is fairly good news for PC gamers who happen to be wrestling fans, as “WWE 2K16” has been receiving plenty of praise from critics and fans alike. The combination of a large roster, new gameplay mechanics and a “Stone Cold” retrospective made the title a must play for WWE fans.

“WWE 2K16” is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. There is a US$24.99 season pass available, which will give fans access to new characters, a hall of fame showcase and new moves.
