Wrestlemania 35 may still be months away and the cards for the WWE spectacle have yet to be known. Known to showcase even past WWE stars, two names have been suggested as possibly having matches when Wrestlemania takes place at the East Rutherford New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on April 27.

The names of Shawn Michaels and Batista have been suggested by Ringside News as having matches at Wrestlemania 35. The Heartbreak Kid could be tipped to wrestle against either Daniel Bryan or AJ Styles, ironically two guys who are embroiled in a storyline. Both are scheduled to face off anew at the WWE Royal Rumble later this month.

In a previous post, it was suggested that Michaels could face Bryan at Wrestlemania 35. If true, Mr. Wrestlemania could get involved somewhere along the way starting with the Royal Rumble. The 53-year-old Michaels last saw action at WWE Crown Jewels where he teamed up with Triple H to take on the "Brothers of Destruction" Kane and the Undertaker.

As mentioned earlier, Bryan is in a storyline with Styles at the moment. Instead of the 37-year-old, Michaels could end up colliding with the Phenomenal One at Wrestlemania 35. With Styles undergoing a rebranding of sorts, such could give Michaels reason to return or challenge 41-year-old Styles to a match.

For those who have followed the careers of Michaels and Styles, both have had stellar ones. It could come close to that Triple H vs. Sting match that went down at Wrestlemania 31, a rare sight pitting icons from warring factions that happened many years ago. It is another dream match that wrestling fans will surely enjoy.

Aside from Michaels, there is another name that could enter the fray in Batista. The Animal has since been busy with Hollywood but a return to the WWE scene, even for a limited time, is not farfetched.

Should it happen, a clash with Triple H would make sense for Triple H. Ringside news pointed out how this match was hinted at SmackDown 1000 when the Animal said that Triple H has not yet beaten him. But the question here is the health status of Triple H since he suffered a torn pectoral muscle at WWE Crown Jewel.

If not Triple H, Batista could take aim at another former Evolution teammate in Randy Orton. While the star power behind that match pales in comparison to a Triple H setto, it remains a clash to watch. But before all that, it also depends on Batista and whether he is fit and available to compete.
