Alberto Del Rio, know in real life as Jose Alberto Rodriguez, finds himself in a whole heap of trouble. The former WWE champion has been reportedly arrested following a police report that he had sexually assaulted a woman last May 3 in San Antonio, Texas. However, it appears the 42-year-old has assaulted the woman on more than one occasion.

According to a report from News 4 San Antonio, Rodriguez was assaulted over the weekend after a woman sought help from authorities. The woman, who could only speak in Spanish, even had photographs to back her claim. But the most recent attack happened on May 3 that lasted until the wee hours of the next day. The accuser claims that the former wrestler smashed her cellphone and laptop plus also threatening to burn her passport.

The unnamed accuser alleges that Del Rio's attacks left her woozy and dizzy after receiving two hits to the head, TMZ Sports reported. But the other claims are a bit disturbing. The woman alleged that Rodriguez also put a sock in her mouth in one instance until she could not breathe and keep her quiet. At that time, Del Rio allegedly sexually assaulted her with his penis and other body parts. The accuser made it clear that she did not consent to sexual activity.

It appears that Rodriguez's rage stems from suspicion of infidelity. The report states that Rodriguez was accusing the woman of cheating on him and that the former WWE star got enraged when she did not admit to being unfaithful. This was when Del Rio started to slap her multiple times and took her downstairs. The woman was forced to wear a dress and dance around Rodriguez. On top of it all, he threatened the woman that he would take her son to drop him in the middle of the road if she refused.

Rodriguez is now facing charges of sexual assault and 2nd-degree felony. His bond was set at $50,000. He was released at about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The recent developments add to the dark side of Del Rio's life. He has struggled as a wrestling superstar, leaving the WWE in 2016. He took his act to other outlets but failed to make an impact. He also got into the mixed martial arts scene in 2019 where he faced Tito Ortiz. He lost in the first round via submission.
