  • John Cena is not a regular face in WWE anymore
  • The locker room members have insisted that Cena does not wish to break the record

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) stars Ric Flair and John Cena are both legends, having won 16 world championship titles each.

According to experienced WWE locker room members, John Cena does not wish to break Ric Flair’s record as his current aim is just to be a part of storylines that would improve the careers of the other wrestlers in the WWE. According to news reports, John Cena is very proud of the work he did with the U.S. Championship open challenges a few years ago.

“John does the job whatever the job is but he’s done with the big belt. He thinks he’s had more than enough. I don’t see it happening,” a locker room source told a pro-wrestling journalist.

Another source spoke about Cena’s bond with Flair. He said,” There’s so much respect. They look at each other and see the generational talent, right? Sometimes records or streaks should be broken. Ric’s all for it. John isn’t. He doesn’t want it.”

John Cena is not very involved in WWE’s current storyline as he is occupied with his filming schedule of FC’s Suicide Squad. It is also understood that Cena will not appear in the much-awaited WWE Royal Rumble and WrestleMania upcoming episodes.

At the same event, he was seen clicking pictures with Seth Rollins and girlfriend Becky Lynch. The former champion had his new partner Shay Shariatzadeh with him throughout the event.
