  • Kane made a surprise return last week on SmackDown
  • He is reportedly in a feud with The Fiend
  • Kane could also participate at the upcoming Royal Rumble

The current World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Universal Champion The Fiend Bray Wyatt reportedly is set to face Kane at the next Saudi Arabia event.

The Pay Per View (PPV) event is expected to take place in February and according to news reports, the local TV channels are advertising a match between the two rivals.

The legendary wrestler Kane made a surprise return to WWE television last week during a SmackDown episode. He spoke about competing at WrestleMania before being interrupted by The Fiend. While the latter went to attack Kane, Daniel Bryan interrupted and saved his former tag team partner.

Another reason for Bryan to save Kane was that he is at present involved in a feud with The Fiend on SmackDown Live. The two wrestlers are set to face off in the Royal Rumble ring next month.

Kane and Wyatt have a history in the WWE Company that goes back to the days when Wyatt was the leader of the Wyatt family. Their recent clash happened last September when The Fiend attacked Kane.

Since Bryan has not been a part of Saudi Arabia's PPV event the last few times, it was easier for the WWE to put The Fiend in a feud with Kane ahead of the Saudi Arabia PPV next month, which could see the two wrestle each other in a singles match. The last time Kane and The Fiend faced each other in the ring in a singles match was back in 2016 and it was the legendary wrestler who came out as the winner.

The latest rumors have also indicated that Kane could be participating at the upcoming Royal Rumble on Monday at the Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas.

So far, Kane has taken part in one Saudi Arabia PPV – Crown Jewel in 2018 where he tagged with his WWE storyline’s brother Undertaker against Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

While some reports have suggested that the Saudi Arabia PPV will take place on Feb. 20, others have reported that it could take place on Feb. 27.
