WWE: Sasha Banks Pays Homage To Her Rumored Hall Of Fame Opponent

There’s no better place to see beauty and brawn other than the WWE divas division. The company has seen multiple divas come and go throughout the years but there are select few who stand out. Some of these superstars have even had the distinction of being called a Hall of Famer. One of these is the master of the Stratusfaction herself, Trish Stratus

She made her WWE debut 20 years ago as a heel manager.

Since then her career has skyrocketed into success. She is a multiple-time WWE Women’s Champion and had some historic bouts against fellow big names in the industry. One classic bout that would always be remembered was the women’s championship match against Lita. The two starred in the main event of the December 6, 2004 episode of Raw.

She was inducted to the Hall of Fame in the 2013 class and since then has made sporadic appearances to the company. She’s made feuds with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair during her brief stint in 2018. She also had the chance to team up with big names like Ronda Rousey during her select performances.

There’s much speculation online about a potential return to the ring as she tweeted a teaser of her Stratusfaction anniversary. In the 16-second clip, a split moment is teased with an image of her and Sasha Banks facing each other inside the ring.

With the match getting more and more hype, Banks added to the noise as she paid homage to the legend on Instagram. Banks has been posting makeup and outfit inspirations from fellow divas on her page. Her most recent one was a tribute to Stratus herself and her iconic pink top, blonde hair and overall style.

While Stratus was one of the best during her time, Banks has been the current generation’s star. She is a multiple-time champion and has had her share of great WrestleMania moments. She’s already had historic matches in her stint with the company and a matchup with Status adds to the continuously growing list of iconic moments.
