They’ve been casually seeing one another ever since she decided to separate from her husband and end her marriage. However, Jack and Nikki will quickly learn that someone has been keeping close tabs on them in the hopes of exposing their romance on the Monday, Sept. 25 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Whenever Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have headed off to spend time together at the Abbot cabin, they have unknowingly had someone following them there on the CBS soap, taking incriminating photos of their kisses and other embraces. Now, however, they will quickly learn not only who was responsible for the photos, but why they were taking them.

Victor (Eric Braden) received the packet of photos from Dina (Marla Adams), and he has since been torn up over his wife moving on with his enemy, though he has insisted to others who are concerned about him that he doesn’t care about the relationship. It has clearly gotten to him however, and he’s even more upset because Nikki had initially been keeping it a secret.

When she goes to see him, it will lead to a clash between the estranged spouses, as she learns about the photos existing and assumes he had them taken so he could keep tabs on her. As she berates him and warns him to stay out of her life however, Victor will show her he wasn’t behind them, and Nikki will be floored when she sees Dina’s return address on the envelope the photos came in.

She will quickly head to Jack’s office again afterwards to warn him, but when she gets there, it will be too late, as Jack will see the images for himself when he receives an unexpected and surprising email from Victor.

“Why would Victor be emailing me?” he asks in a preview clip.

“Wait, before you open that,” Nikki interrupts.

“Oh my God!” Jack replies. “Someone’s stalking us?”

Jack will be equally as shocked as Nikki was by the photos even existing in the first place, but he will quickly see his feelings turn to ones of anger when she reveals that Dina was the one who hired a photographer. Now, Jack will find himself forced to confront his mother and find out just why she has betrayed him so deeply.

Of course, Dina will likely defend her actions, as she is sure that Nikki is only using Jack as revenge on Victor, and will only break his heart in the end. Though she and Graham (Max Shippee) had the photos taken and sent out, and doing so was technically wrong, Dina will maintain that she had the right reasons. However, the decision to try and meddle in her son’s relationship could also backfire on her, and the recent relationship they rebuilt as family could quickly face catastrophic consequences because of what she did.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
