They've learned where the leaks about their company secrets came from and who was behind them. Now, Jack will decide to hit back at Brash and Sassy for their actions by making sure that what they learn is actually all wrong information on the Wednesday, Sept. 27 episode of "The Young and the Restless."

After realizing a leak occurred within Jabot's files, Jack (Peter Bergman) ordered Ravi (Abhi Sinha) to investigate and figure out what happened. As he worked on it on the CBS soap, Ravi uncovered that whoever hacked their systems had done so by using Dina's (Marla Adams) password, and that they had used it and accessed the files from Phyllis' (Gina Tognoni) computer. While Ashley (Eileen Davidson) quickly assumed that it was an inside job and Phyllis was working for their enemy, Jack deduced that his ex-wife wasn't actually aware of what happened—and the hack was orchestrated by their brother, Billy (Jason Thompson), so he could make Brash and Sassy more successful.

Jack will be correct with his theory, as Billy used his relationship with Phyllis to his advantage by hacking into her computer whenever he had a chance and downloading the secret Jabot files, which allowed him and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to learn that Jabot was reinvigorating their youth line of products in an attempt to directly hit at Brash and Sassy's sales by targeting their key demographic. Now that he realizes what his brother is up to, Jack will decide to get his own form of payback.

The Young and the Restless
Jack (Peter Bergman) will unveil a revenge plot against Brash and Sassy to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) on the Sept. 27, 2017 episode of "The Young and the Restless." CBS

"They want access to our secrets? Let's give it to them!" He announces to a stunned Ravi and Ashley in a preview clip.

Ashley won't understand what her brother is suggesting they do at first, because she can't believe he would willingly give up their secrets to a competitor. However, Jack will explain that they won't be, because while he won't do anything to keep them from accessing the files, he will also make sure that what they're accessing does not contain correct info. He feels if Brash and Sassy accesses the wrong material, they will mount a counter-attack that proves to be a fatal error on their parts.

Ashley will express disappointment over Jack's plan, because she's sick of her brothers and their constant need to one-up the other, especially since their feud directly traces back to their conflicts over Phyllis in the past. However, her protests will go ignored and Jack will continue going through with his plan, starting off by assuring Phyllis he was mistaken about their being a hack. He will maintain that her being unaware of Billy's using her computer is crucial, because if she knows what he did, she will protect herself better, and Billy will no longer get access to the files Jack plants. However, Phyllis may also quickly realize there is something Jack isn't telling her, and she too may start to grow suspicious.

"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
