The Young and the Restless
Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) methods for handling news of Abby's (Melissa Ordway, not pictured) disappearance will be questioned on the Nov. 15, 2017 episode of "The Young and the Restless."  CBS

Her sister is missing after being kidnapped by her boyfriend and the man who turned a dating app she promoted into a front for a sex ring, however, Victoria's concern for Abby will be questioned after she takes an unusual stance about her on the Wednesday, Nov. 15 episode of "The Young and the Restless."

Abby (Melissa Ordway) was kidnapped after Zach (Ryan Ashton) fled with her following the reveal that the Date Design app she was promoting through Newman was actually a front for his sex trafficking ring. However, as her loved ones worry about her safety and try to figure out a way to locate her and get her back, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will take a different approach, focusing instead on her new position as COO of Newman and protecting her own reputation instead.

Victoria initially hijacked the party celebrating Abby's success to turn it into a celebration of her move back to Newman Enterprises, and it appears her attempts to make things more about herself, and giving her a better public profile won't end while Abby's life is in danger. As she tells Neil (Kristoff St. John) to send out separate press releases which both distance Abby and the dating app from Newman and also announce her return to the company, Lily (Christel Khalil) will question her tactics, and be in disbelief that Victoria is more concerned about knocking Abby down further than she is about helping her.

"Your sister is missing and you're going to throw her under the bus?" Lily asks in a preview clip.

However, despite her methods being questioned, Victoria won't be deterred from her task, and will move forward with the planned announcements.

Meanwhile, as Abby and Scott's (Daniel Hall) situation continues to seem grim, as they remain locked in the storage unit that Zach left them in after fleeing town. However, Abby will remain optimistic that her status as a member of the two most influential families in Genoa City will help their case and result in their receiving help sooner rather than later.

"You're wrong, help is coming," she says to Scott in the clip. "My family will not rest until we are found."

"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
