They got involved to help keep Billy from killing Adam, but Chloe and Kevin could find themselves landing in some trouble of their own when they finally go public with the truth that she is alive on the Friday, August 30 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After realizing Billy (Jason Thompson) was planning to do something to Adam (Marc Grossman) because of the visions he’s been having regarding Delia, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) quickly intervened and pushed Adam out of the way as Billy headed towards him with a car on the CBS soap. Since then, Billy crashed the vehicle since he saw Chloe in the road, and she and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) are trying to figure out a way to help him as he suffers from a break with reality.

However, in order to really help him, they may need to get out of hiding first, and once they learn Chloe won’t face charges for her own attempts to kill Adam in the past, they will know that they can go public. However, when Chloe surfaces in Genoa City by showing her face, one person, in particular, will be stunned by the truth that she’s alive—Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).

“Chelsea’s world is turned upside-down,” spoilers reveal.

Chelsea will be understandably shocked by the reveal that Chloe is alive because the last time she saw her former best friend was when she learned the truth about Chloe blowing up the cabin Adam was in and leaving him for dead. Since then, Chelsea also felt guilt because she thought her accusations had driven her friend to suicide when Chloe had actually faked her death and gone into hiding. Naturally, she won’t be happy to see her—and she will be even more furious when she learns Chloe won’t be going to jail for her attempts to murder Adam, which completely upended not only their lives but their son’s as well.

Meanwhile, as Chloe faces the person she hurt most in the world, Adam will be trying to figure out who tried to kill him, and will mistakenly believe his father is the one who orchestrated things. After yet another contentious discussion between them, Victor (Eric Braden) may finally force himself to fully remove his son from his life—and it could bring even more drama between them as a result.

“Victor cuts ties,” spoilers state.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
