He made sure that a contract which gave his sister full control over everything she ever developed for their family company was shredded. However, following Traci finding the evidence, Jack will be forced to reveal what he knows on the Wednesday, Oct. 24 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Previously on the CBS soap, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) were stunned when Dina (Marla Adams) led them to papers she had John sign decades earlier which gave Ashley (Eileen Davidson) creative control over any patents and products she had created for Jabot. Aware that letting her know about that now, after she was ousted as CEO following her scheme against Jack, would mean that Jabot would be bankrupt with a week, Jack shredded the documents.

However, Dina refused to let it go and tipped Traci (Beth Maitland) off, and she went back to Jabot and pieced the documents back together. Now, armed with the truth, she will try to force Jack to confess and tell Ashley the truth.

Y&R spoilers tease that “The Abbotts reminisce.” If the family is forced to look back on their past, it may shed some light on why they have been so cruel to one another now, as they all battle over their father's legacy and the CEO chair at Jabot.

If the true problems stem from when they were kids, then it would explain why Jack and Ashley especially have been so cruel to one another in recent months, with Jack using the Blood Abbott clause against his sister, before she sent him on a wild goose chase and made him believe he wasn’t really John’s son. It would also explain why Jack now shredded the only document which would give Ashley some control over all the work she’s done over the years as well.

As he’s forced to look back on his childhood, it could be the catalyst which then prompts him to admit his most recent actions. Now, with all the confessions out in the open, the family will have to decide what their next move is when it comes to their future.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
