He has admitted that he slept with her daughter the night before he left for rehab for revenge over her own affair. Now, Phyllis will react to Billy’s shocking bombshell about his night with Summer on the Thursday, Oct. 18 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After Sharon (Sharon Case) revealed at her wedding to Nick (Joshua Morrow) that he and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) had slept together, Billy (Jason Thompson) quickly ended his relationship with her on the CBS soap. He was already committed to attending rehab for his gambling addiction and did leave town the next day, but not before he met up with Summer (Hunter King) and slept with her.

Now, he’s back, and Summer has been trying to see if they could pick up where they left off because she wants to pursue a relationship. However, Billy has since dropped a bombshell on both her and Phyllis, revealing he slept with his former girlfriend’s daughter out of revenge and had no intention of letting things go any further.

Now, Summer will be heartbroken and Phyllis will be furious. Not satisfied, Billy will then taunt Phyllis about how he did it because it felt right to sleep with the daughter of the two people who screwed him over because it was the perfect way to get back at them. Enraged, Phyllis will slap him for what he’s done, but he will remind her that the image of him and Summer together will haunt her in her mind, and that’s his goal because he will forever be haunted by the image of her and Nick.

Following the big reveal, it may mean big changes for Phyllis and Summer. The two were constantly at odds after she the younger woman came home to Genoa City because she had been making plans to seduce Billy and steal him away from her mother. Now, after they both were played and hurt by him, the mother and daughter may decide to finally repair their relationship—and it will hopefully be something that is finally improved.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
