She learned that her mother’s fiancé had cheated on her with his ex during a brief break. Now, with Sharon and Nick’s wedding day finally here, Mariah will be forced to make a difficult decision and decide whether or not she will reveal the truth on the Tuesday, Oct. 2 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

During the Bachelor/Bachelorette parties at the Dive Bar, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) overheard Summer (Hunter King/Bayley Corman) as she discussed Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) one-night stand on the CBS soap. Mariah was devastated for Sharon (Sharon Case), who believed Nick had been completely faithful to her and began to wonder if she should reveal the truth to her mother or not before she once again said her vows.

Now, the big day has arrived and Mariah is still unsure of what to do. Summer will begin to try and pressure her to make the reveal, though Mariah won’t allow herself to be baited by her since she knows it’s a ploy that Summer is trying to work. Still, as the preparations for the wedding continue, she may find herself deciding that she needs to share the truth.

Y&R Spoilers tease that Mariah reaches a difficult decision. In a preview clip for the week’s episodes, she questions Nick about any unfinished business he has with the other significant women in his past. Nick will likely assure her that he’s completely committed to a future with Sharon, unaware of what Mariah has learned.

Still, even with his assurance that he plans to remain committed to Sharon for the rest of his life, Mariah may finally decide what she needs to do—even though it will likely break Sharon’s heart in the process.

A second clip shows Mariah tearfully telling Sharon that Nick and Phyllis slept together a few weeks ago, meaning she will go through with sharing what her mother needs to know before she says her vows. What Sharon decides to do with that information will remain to be seen—though it’s unlikely that her wedding to Nick will still go off without a hitch.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
