Their wedding day is fast approaching, but before they can say “I Do,” Nick and Sharon will decide that they need to be honest with one another about the major secrets they’ve been keeping on the Wednesday, Sept. 26 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) are certain that they want to be together again and are ready to marry on the CBS soap. However, they each have been keeping massive secrets from each other, ones that neither one feels they can still have before they wed.

Sharon has been keeping the truth from Nick since before they were even together about what really happened to JT (Thad Luckinbill). Only Sharon, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) know that the night he disappeared was also the night he died after he tried to attack Victoria, and Nikki defended her daughter by hitting him in the head with a fireplace poker. The action killed him, and the women worked together to bury him in Chancellor Park and cover up the crime.

However, since Rey (Jordi Villasousa) came to town and Sharon became nervous he would figure out the truth, she has decided that It's best for Nick to know the truth before the cops figure it out. Now, despite urging from the other women that she maintain the secret, she is ready to share.

Sharon isn’t the only one with a secret, however, and Nick also has something big he needs to share. The night he revealed what he had done to launch Dark Horse, he and Sharon fought and she even considered calling off their engagement entirely. Feeling their relationship was over and that she couldn’t understand why he had done the things he did, Nick sought Phyllis out. As she was also dealing with drama in her own relationship with Billy (Jason Thompson), the two gave in to their worst impulses once again and repeated history by sleeping with each other again. Now, though his ex-wife has warned him it won’t do any good, Nick also wants to confess to what happened.

The question will remain of course—will they each confess? And if they do, will they forgive one another and still go through with their marriage plans?

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
