  • The former couple split in 2018 after being married for nine years
  • Jaclyn Hill then started dating her former husband's best friend
  • Hill said "there was no cheating"

YouTube star Jaclyn Hill responded to fans' assumptions that she cheated on her ex-husband, Jon Hill, with his best friend, Jordan, who she is currently dating.

She posted a YouTube video last week in which she responded to the speculations.

"I know that I didn’t cheat. I understand why, though. I do. I understand why people assume that I cheated, because Jordan and I got together so quickly," she said.

"When I got on camera and announced that I was getting a divorce, my ex-husband and I had been separated completely, and he had been moved out of the house for over six months at that point. I understand why the time frame looked messy online. But no. There was no cheating," she added.

The former couple split in 2018 after being married for nine years. Hill announced the separation in an Instagram post saying, "After almost nine years of marriage, Jon and I have decided to divorce. Although this has been one of the hardest decisions of our lives, I know it's what's best for both of us. I will always have love for him, and am so grateful for all of the good times we've together. My heart is broken by this, but I still believe in love and believe everyone has a chance for a happy ending. Thank you so much for your love and support toward the both of us."

Two weeks later, she took to YouTube to give out the details.

"I will always love Jon, but Jon and I have never made good partners, we have always made good friends. After almost nine years it got to a point where we had to finally face the music, look at what this was and be like… it can't go on. Jon and I have had problems our entire marriage but we have always worked to be bigger than our problems and it just got to a point where it was exhausting. I was bled dry, there was nothing left to give. At what point do you have to give up your happiness for someone else's? You shouldn't have to do that for your husband. You shouldn't have to change who you are, it's not fair," she said.
