  • Jake Paul's boxing coach sees another knockout win in April
  • His next opponent has yet to be named
  • Paul will likely face someone from the MMA scene

Internet sensation Jake Paul is all set to fight again although his next opponent’s identity has yet to be revealed.

That name is likely to be from the mixed martial arts (MMA) scene, but it won’t likely be Conor McGregor.

Regardless of who the 23-year-old faces, trainer BJ Flores is also raising expectations. He is forecasting another big win for the YouTuber, seeing another knockout in three rounds or less in the upcoming main event, Boxingscene reported.

“People aren’t gonna believe how fast Jake’s next opponent gets knocked out. Jake stole the show on the last card and we are thrilled to be working with Triller’s Ryan Kavanagh and his entire team again. Fighting as the co-main to boxing legends Mike Tyson and Roy Jones was an incredible experience but this is only the beginning,” Flores stated.

While that could be considered a bold prediction, the former world title challenger did not reveal who Paul’s opponent would be.

McGregor was at the top of the list, but it appears that he will face someone else.

Although he did not mention the name, Flores did provide some breadcrumbs on who Paul’s next opponent will be.

“Jake will be facing a very well known professional with 10 years experience and excellent credentials. Do not blink. This will not go more than three rounds,” Flores teased.

Looking through the list of potential opponents, the names of Dillon Danis and Ben Askren come to mind.

Danis is the same guy that Paul had attacked with water balloons last December. Most felt it was a way to get the attention of McGregor, but it appears it was directed to the 27-year-old MMA fighter.

Askren was the first one to accept Paul’s challenge, and a fight was announced to be happening in March. Unfortunately, “Funky” revealed that the YouTuber went radio-silent on him and felt that the fight was off.

Meanwhile, McGregor’s loss to Poirier may have altered Paul’s trajectory although it points to the YouTuber taking on either Danis or Askren. That is unless there was another name that has not been openly mentioned on his list.
