The way Real Madrid cruised through this season's La Liga title was memorable. The club benefited well from several players rising to the occasion as future stars of the team. But with the team wanting to improve in years to come, one prospect that may fit in well with the roster and further deepen their lineup is French star Eduardo Camavinga.

The 17-year-old has a lot to learn but that doesn’t mean he’s not ready to take the big stage. In his current stint with Rennes, he’s proven to be a sensational player with the way he moves on the field. The defensive midfielder plays aggressive on the pitch and isn’t afraid of any contact as he’s scouted to tackle his opponents often. An athletic player coupled with great anticipation of his opponents, Camavinga would clearly serve as an asset for any squad.

The energy Camavinga brings can complement the extensive rotation of Los Blancos. The dominance of Zinedine Zidane as a cerebral manager has proven to be victorious for Real Madrid in the past few years. One of the most trusted rotations in his lineup would involve the likes of Sergio Ramos, Casemiro, Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema. The team is loaded with talent as they have constantly proven to be a dominant force provided all the championships they have won as a unit.

Per Everything Barca, signing Camavinga would be beneficial for Real Madrid as he can be paired up well with Casemiro. This takes some pressure off the 28-year-old’s shoulders given how steady the youngster can be on the field. Throughout Camavinga’s career, he’s tallied four tackles a night to go along with 1.3 interceptions, 1.2 clearances and a dribbled past per game rate of 1.8.

The consistent performance of Zidane’s star players helped the veteran manager notch his 11th trophy for the club. The tactical mindset of Zidane coupled with his team’s trusty roster of puts Los Blancos in a position to dominate in years to come. It will be interesting to see how Zidane will further improve moving forward and if they’re able to sign someone like Camavinga to contribute to the success of Real Madrid.
