  • Sevilla and Ajax are among the teams attracted to Kubo's skills
  • The current focus now of Real Madrid is to put on a dominant display in the Champions League

There’s no question that Real Madrid has a deep roster as one of their promising talents Takefusa Kubo has garnered interest from several top teams in the world. Two of the prominent clubs that have set their eyes on the winger are Sevilla and Ajax.

To add to these clubs, teams such as Real Betis, Real Sociedad and Granada were also some of the few organizations linked to Kubo before. But per The Real Champs, Sevilla and Ajax are the two latest teams who see Kubo as a valuable asset to their squads. The intensity the 19-year-old brings on the field is a great addition to have for any offense.

During his stint on loan to Mallorca, the Japanese national team standout has been on a consistent display of his skills. In 36 appearances, he was able to score four times and pass the ball well with five assists. In the latest La Liga season, he played mainly from the right-wing with 22 games.

If Sevilla is able to land Kubo, then he can be paired up with players like Yousef En-Nesyri, Lucas Ocampos and Jules Kounde. Being surrounded by these figures can help Kubo, in the long run, develop and hone his skills even further. The Andalusia-based squad has also reached success in this year’s La Liga tournament as they tallied in fourth place in the standings.

A similar situation can also benefit Kubo if he ends up in Ajax as the squad has seen much success in Eredivisie. Putting someone like Kubo’s caliber in Ajax may give him an opportunity to lead and dominate early in his young career.

It will be interesting to see where Kubo ends up in the near future. Whether he’ll be shipped for a new chance to mature or to stay with Los Blancos, there’s no doubt Kubo is a reliable talent. The recent Real Madrid La Liga championship was impressive and Zinedine Zidane is now looking forward to the same success in the Champions League.

The consistent performance of Zidane’s stars and developing players helped the veteran manager notch his 11th trophy for the club. The tactical mindset of Zidane coupled with his trusty roster puts his team in a position to dominate in years to come. The club has won Champions League multiple times under Zidane’s leadership before and Kubo would need to increase his intensity if he ends up staying with Real Madrid.
