Just before the launch of Android Wear 2.0 update, it looks like ZTE is joining the list of companies offering smartwatches with its new device called Quartz, according to Venture Beat.

An image of the ZTE Quartz was leaked on Twitter:

The device’s specs aren’t known yet but it was previously learned that a device with the model name ZW10 got its Bluetooth SIG certification, which suggests the gadget will support Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. Quartz can be paired with Android versions 4.3 and up. The smartwatch might also allow calls to be made and received on-wrist, according to Venture Beat .

ZTE could showcase the smartwatch or a better version of it at Mobile World Congress 2017 later this month. At last year’s event, ZTE displayed two watches, the Venus 1 and Venus 2, which are mostly activity trackers.

ZTE had previously sold a smartphone using the name Quartz, but failed to spur interest in the market.
