No women wants cellulite and most go to extremes in order to get rid of the dimpled, lumpy appearance. Cellulite is fat beneath the skin that most women get rid on their buttocks, thighs and arms. While it seems like only overweight women would have this issue, weight is not necessarily the determining factor, and thin people can have cellulite as well.

Treatments for the unattractive but common skin condition include massages, creams that are said to dissolve fat and smooth the skin, laser treatments, diet and exercise, and even liposuction to remove fat deposits from the body.

But what if you could just throw on a pair of pants to reduce the appearance of cellulite? A clothing company is offering just that. Proskins is selling compression leggings made from 24 karat gold, with a steep $197.57 price tag. Though they look like any other black pair of leggings, Proskins states the legwear has been yarned with 24 Karat gold to help with "aging, anti-oxidants and mosturizing the skin. The leggings help “the skin to naturally create Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a substance naturally present in the skin that plays a key role in skin health and youth.” As a result, blood circulation will improve and there will be reduced fluid retention. They also claim the expensive leggings will help improve the appearance of problem areas for up to two days after being worn.

While wearing clothes may not be the most effective cellulite treatment, it may come as a surprise that the most effective and least expensive way to combat it, according to Dr. Oz, is simply diet and exercise. Eating fruits and vegetables can make cellulite less noticeable, and toning “problem” areas with exercise is also a beneficial solution.
