Box office sweetheart Dakota Johnson is celebrating a birthday! Tuesday marks the film star’s 27th year and in honor of her big day, let’s celebrate with a few, fun facts about her. Find out all there is to know about the “Fifty Shade Darker” star’s past roles, upcoming movies, net worth and more!

She’s On Instagram

Johnson may not be on active on social media as her colleagues but she’s not completely off the grid. While Johnson doesn’t appear to have an official Twitter (much like Jamie Dornan) or Facebook (she deleted hers after starring in “The Social Network”), she is on Instagram. After sharing dozens of personal photos, including one seriously suggestive shot in July, Johnson mysteriously wiped all of her images from her account last month. All that’s left is a photo of her on the cover of AnOther magazine, pictured below.

Net Worth

Johnson makes quite the comfortable living. Several sites have her net worth listed at $5 million. Her 2015 net worth was estimated to be considerably less at $1 million. Johnson and her “Fifty Shades” co-star Jamie Dornan reportedly took home $250,000 for their roles in their first film. They were reported to be fighting for raises heading into the final two films, though it is unclear if their salary demands were met.

Little-Known Roles

While it was 2015’s “Fifty Shades of Grey” that rocketed Johnson to stardom it was far from her first movie role. The actress also starred in several other hit films before playing Ms. Ana Steele. Fans can see Johnson play Justin Timberlake’s character Sean Parker’s one-night stand in 2010’s award-winning “The Social Network,” Jason Segel’s character’s sex-obsessed girlfriend in “The Five-Year Engagement” and an uncover cop in “21 Jump Street.”

Movies Lined Up

It’s not just the “Fifty Shades” sequels Johnson’s fans have to look forward to. The actress has several films lined up, including the crime thriller “Under the Silver Lake” with Andrew Garfield, which is in pre-production. It was announced in January that Johnson will also star in the music drama “The Sound of Metal” opposite Matthias Schoenaerts. Of course, Johnson can be seen on the big screen reprising her role as Ana Steele in “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed,” releasing in February 2017 and 2018, respectively. She Wants Kids & A Husband... Maybe

Growing up in a famous family, Johnson desires to one day live her a life outside of the spotlight. In February, she told Marie Claire she sometimes dreams about being a mother and a wife.

“The idea of being at home and picking up kids from school and cooking dinner and then the husband comes home – there’s something that seems really nice to me cause I never had that growing up,” she explained. “It seems so enticing but in my mind, I’m like, well I’ll just play that in a movie and go about my own life, bizarre as it is.”
