Form your teams and get ready to literally take a trip down memory lane back when it’s still in the ‘80s and the Guinness World Records titleholder for the most watched man on TV is still David Hasselhoff. But the catch is: You’ll have to survive the radical rage of the zombies at the amusement park. Welcome to “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” all-new survival co-op mode “Zombies in Spaceland!’

Earlier today, PlayStation announced the all-new undead survival co-op on its official blog, alongside the release of the mode’s trailer (seen below). While the name may trick you into thinking that the mode is going to toss you and your teammates into space, “Zombies in Spaceland” is actually a mode that is just set in a space-themed amusement park. But even without traveling into space, players will still find themselves invigorated by the prospect of traveling back in time just to slaughter the walking dead.

Giving the mode an even more inviting feel is the storyline that involves four aspiring actors who for some mysterious reason would find their way into the deadly amusement park after going for an audition in a peculiar movie theater run by a once-famous actor of the horror genre who is now a director.

The new “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” co-op mode stars “Gotham” actor Paul Reubens as director Willard Wyler. He will be responsible for sending the four actors voiced by Seth Green, Ike Barinholtz, Jay Pharoah and Sasheer Zamata into the zombie-infested amusement park, EuroGamer has learned.

Since the game is set in the 1980s, the developers of the mode did not miss the chance of featuring an ‘80s TV icon in the person of David Hasselhoff, who in this game is going to play the character of a mysterious DJ. Hasselhoff’s character may be seen as comical in the mode’s official trailer, but he is going to be instrumental in the survival of the characters, as per Kotaku.

More information about the new “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare ” survival co-op mode “Zombies in Spaceland” will be revealed tomorrow via live streams on Twitch and YouTube at 9 a.m. PST. The live stream event is going to be hosted by Jay Pharoah and will feature Infinity Ward members. “Zombies in Spaceland” will be available to play next month at the “Call of Duty XP” convention.
