Bad news, guys. Gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Olympic soccer player Alex Morgan broke hearts across the country on Monday by announcing that she is engaged to her longtime boyfriend.

On Monday, Morgan took to Twitter and Instagram to reveal her engagement to Servando Carrasco, a professional soccer player for the Houston Dynamo of the MLS. While she didn’t explicitly announce that Carrasco had proposed, she posted a photo of a massive diamond engagement ring on her ring finger.

“Couldn’t be happier #lifeisgood,” Morgan captioned the photo on Twitter. She also posted a picture to her Instagram account with the caption “#InstaBling.”

News of Morgan’s engagement to Carrasco drew an immediate response from her U.S. Olympic soccer teammates. Sydney Leroux, a forward on the national team and Morgan’s close friend, took to Twitter to congratulate the 24-year-old on her engagement.

“Congratulations to my beautiful friend and teammate [Alex Morgan]. I’m about to plan the best bachelorette party of all time,” Leroux wrote.

Fellow Olympic soccer players Heather Mitts and Ashlyn Harris seemed pretty enthusiastic about that idea. “Ah love this news!

Vegas baby? Congrats to you love birds,” Mitts wrote. “Oh s---, now it’s getting real. You might need help. Where we goin??? #illBringMyDress,” Harris said in response to Leroux.

Morgan and Carrasco began dating when they were both freshman at the University of California, and have been together ever since, NESN reports. Carrasco, 25, a midfielder for the Dynamo, joined the squad in September after spending the first few seasons of his career with the Seattle Sounders.

Morgan, who currently plays for the Portland Thorns of the National Women’s Soccer League, was a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team’s 2012 gold medal campaign.
