Alex Rodriguez was rumored to be planning on suing the culprit who took a photo of him while he was on the toilet last month, but the former athlete made light of the ordeal during a recent interview. He will, however, be taking better precautions in the future when it comes to his and his family's privacy.

In mid-May, Rodriguez was pictured inside his $17 million New York City Park Avenue apartment using the bathroom with his pants down. At the time, it was believed an employee from an adjacent hedge fund may have been responsible.

"I'm certainly not suing," the 43-year-old said during an interview on Fox 5’s "Good Day New York" on Monday. "The one thing is, I actually do my best thinking there [in the bathroom]. I wasn’t ready for that picture. But look, it is what it is."

He jokingly added, "I have to invest in some good blinds, and I think I am."

And while Rodriguez has no plans on issuing a lawsuit behind the culprit of the viral image, the former MLB slugger did say that he and his team have not completely given up on the matter.

"We’re still doing an investigation. We’re doing it because you don’t want the next person for that to happen. It’s really a weird thing," he explained. "I'm happier that it was me [instead of] my better half [fiancée Jennifer Lopez] or one of the children."
