Amber Portwood is less than eight months away from becoming Mrs. Baier.

"Teen Mom OG" star Amber chatted with International Business Times about her forthcoming wedding to Matt Baier ahead of the season premiere. Now that the MTV docuseries has finally caught up with real life — when we spoke to Amber she had just returned from celebrating Christmas in Florida with her daughter Leah, a newly introduced storyline on the show — find out what the MTV star has planned for her big day.

While Amber, 25, was dead set on having her wedding land on Oct. 10, some important factors had yet to be decided. “I can’t make a decision if I want it here in Indiana or if I want it on the beach. I really don’t know what I want to do yet,” she told IBT. “We’re trying to move forward but it’s my first wedding!”

As for wedding dress shopping, Amber said she’s purposefully putting off looking for her dream gown. “I have not looked at a dress yet because I’m waiting to get to my goal weight,” she dished.

Leah, 7, whom she shares with ex Gary Shirley, will also be getting a special outfit. “Booboo, she already has it planned. She wants a big, fluffy pink dress," Amber said.

Another major thing Amber was uncertain about: if she’ll broadcast her wedding as part of “Teen Mom OG.” Amber laughed off rumors she’s long been planning to televise her nuptials, like her co-star Catelynn Lowell did this season, but didn't completely write off the idea. “I don’t even know where that came from,” Amber said of the gossip. “I mean, MTV is family to me and I’m sure my fans would love to be a part of something so special."

Amber shared the drama a film crew can bring may not be something she wants to deal with when she's getting married and she will ultimately have to make the best decision for her family. “It’s going to be a decision I have to make soon but maybe," she said. "I just want it to be really special day for me and Matt and Leah and the whole family.”

While MTV viewers may not be invited to Amber’s big day, her “Teen Mom” co-stars are sure to get an invite. When asked if she would include her “Teen Mom OG” counterparts, Amber said she would extend an invite to “all of them.”

“I love them deeply, of course,” she said. “I don’t think people know how close we are. Anytime we can all get together and have a good time, we do.”

Watch the two-hour season finale of "Teen Mom OG" airs Monday at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
