Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes jones on Fox's hit show, Glee, had a scary moment on the red carpet in front of assembled photographers Tuesday night. Riley reportedly collapsed on the way to an event at the TV Academy of Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood, where Glee cast member and producers were to hold a panel discussion in front  of Emmy Award voters.

After the event, Riley she tweeted to her fans:  'Hey guys, I'm okay :) I got a little dizzy from all the photog flashes! she wrote. You'd think I's be used to it by now, still a red carpet amateur I guess. Gonna get checked out but I feel fine. Thank you for all the concern and well wishes.

The 26-year old actress also sent a tweet directed at the media. I'd also like to thank the photographers for being so professional and not taking photos of me on the ground, she wrote. I truly truly appreciate it. Could have been super embarrassing.

Amber was able to quickly recover and participate in the panel, E! Online reported.

Her fellow actors and onscreen classmates, Lea Michele, Heather Morris, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss and others were also at the event for the Glee, which is not nearing the end of production for its third season. The season finale will air on May 22.
