5. Mark Consuelos

Ryan Murphy is wheeling out the big guns to fill the asylum rooms in his second season of American Horror Story. It's been confirmed that All My Children's Mark Consuelos will be the latest inmate in the FX horror anthology.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Mark Consuelos, husband to Kelly Ripa, will have a recurring role on the hit series as Spivey, a patient at the East Coast institution for the criminally insane. Why his character is institutionalized has not been revealed.

The last season of American Horror Story took place at a murder home in California. This season co-creator Ryan Murphy has decided to switch up the whole show with a new setting and new characters. The second season of American Horror Story will take place in a horrific institution for the criminally insane on the East Coast in the 1960's. Season one star Jessica Lange will be returning to play a nun that runs the institution.

Besides Lange, Consuelos will be joining other season one veterans Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe and Zachary Quinto.
