Break out your cauldron and summon your black cat – the synopsis for the season 3 premiere of “American Horror Story” has leaked online, and it will leave you dangling from your broomstick.

The FX mini-series has been releasing teaser videos for its coming season, “Coven,” and now fans can finally take a bite out of the premiere episode before its Oct. 9 release. How will the story of Salem witches vs. voodoo witches unfold in episode 1, “Bitchcraft”?

“American Horror Story: Coven” will kick off with the introduction of Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), a young girl who is “shattered to discover she possesses a strange genetic affliction tracing back to the dark days of Salem.” After her startling discovery, Zoe gets shipped off to Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies in New Orleans. But Miss Robichaux’s Academy isn’t your average school – it’s a place “devoted to safeguarding the few remaining descendants who share this unique bloodline.”

As Zoe makes her move to the mysterious school, a former New Orleans resident named Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange) finds herself returning to her old stomping grounds. “The most powerful witch of her generation,” Fiona ends up reigniting an old rivalry with the “Coven’s deadly enemies, the Voodoo.” And that’s not all the Supreme witch is up to – Fiona is also harboring a secret agenda.

“American Horror Story” premieres on FX Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. EDT with “Bitchcraft.” Episode 2, which is currently set to air on Oct. 16, is called “Boy Parts,” and episode 3, airing on Oct. 23, is named “The Replacements.”

“Coven” features “American Horror Story” vets Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farimga, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Denis O’Hare, Alexandra Breckenridge, and Jamie Brewer. Newcomers to the witchy third season include Emma Roberts, Alexander Dreymon, Gabourey Sidibe, Kathy Bates, Patti LuPone, Angela Bassett, Christine Ebersole, Leslie Jordan, Damon Grey, Danny Huston and Sir Maejor.
