Wes Bentley of "The Hunger Games" has joined "American Horror Story" in a multi-arc role.

“American Horror Story: Freak Show” has a new face attached. The FX mini-series, which is set to begin filming in mid-July, has revealed “Hunger Games” actor Wes Bentley will be joining the fourth season for a multiepisode arc.

Fans of Bentley will remember him from his role as Head Gamekeeper Seneca Crane in the first “Hunger Games” film. However, he’ll be tackling a much different character in Season 4 of “American Horror Story.”

TV Line reports the actor will be playing a man named Eddie. But it doesn’t sound like Eddie is part of the freak show run by Jessica Lange’s German ex-pat character. Instead, Eddie is described as a “dark tormentor from Kathy Bates’ past.” The twist? He’s “hell-bent on revenge.”

While “American Horror Story” fans still don’t know specifics regarding Kathy Bates’ role in “Freak Show,” it has been confirmed the actress will be a performer. Bates’ character is said to be the ex-wife of Michael Chiklis’ “strong man” and the mother to fellow performer Evan Peters.

Wes Bentley’s part on “American Freak Show” will be brief. The actor is only set to appear in two episodes, a reported Halloween two-parter that will tentatively air on October 21 and 28.

The fourth installment of the hit FX show is set in 1952 in Jupiter, Florida. It will focus on one of the last freak shows in America. Check out a full casting lineup below:

Jessica Lange – The “American Horror Story” veteran will be playing a German ex-pat who “manages one of the last freak shows in the U.S.”

Denis O’Hare O’Hare, who played the spooky Spalding on “Coven,” will be going head-to-head with Jessica Lange’s character in Season 4. His character will be a “collector of freaks.”

Kathy Bates – Bates, who first appeared on “American Horror Story: Coven,” will be returning for another year of horrific fun. Her character will be a performer in Lange’s freak show.

Michael Chiklis Chiklis is a newcomer to “American Horror Story.” The actor will be playing a “strong man” and the ex-husband of Kathy Bates’ character. His character is currently married to Angela Bassett’s character.

Evan Peters – Like Lange, Peters has been with “AHS” from the start of the series. He’ll be returning for a fourth year as a performer and the son of Chiklis and Bates’ characters.

Sarah Paulson – The returning actress will be tackling the role of conjoined twins Bette and Dot.

Angela Bassett – Bassett will return for another round of terror, but her character has yet to be revealed. She will be the current wife of Michael Chiklis’ character.

Emma Roberts – Emma Roberts has been confirmed to appear in Season 4, but no news on her character has been released.

Frances Conroy – Frances Conroy will be returning, but details on her role have not been revealed.

Gabourey Sidibe – Character details for Gabourey Sidibe have not been released.

Jamie Brewer – Details on Jamie Brewer’s new character are unknown.

The following character descriptions have been released; however, no actors have been attached:

- Bobby, an “extremely, extremely tall man” who is also said to be a “gentle giant.”

- Sammy, a mysterious role that requires the actor to use prosthetics.
