Denis O'Hare, who played Spalding in Season 3 of "American Horror Story," dished about his new "Freak Show" character. FX

Keep calm, “American Horror Story” fans. We’ve got some scoop on Denis O’Hare’s character in the upcoming fourth season, “Freak Show.”

“American Horror Story” co-creator Ryan Murphy has been very cautious about leaking spoilers, but Denis O’Hare threw all that to the wind when he spoke with Vulture about what viewers can expect from him in Season 4. According to the 52-year-old actor, he’s going to be featured in a lot of scenes with Jessica Lange. However, their relationship will be a lot different from last season.

Fans will remember that O’Hare’s “Coven” character, Spalding, fawned over the Supreme witch, doing anything he could to help cover up her deadly deeds. But this time, “Freak Show” will feature him going head-to-head with Lange.

“I’m going to be working at cross-purposes with her,” he revealed to Vulture. “We have lots of scenes with each other, but we’ll be battling.”

Denis O’Hare’s character won’t be a freak, though. Instead he’ll be “a collector of freaks.”

Besides Jessica Lange, O’Hare will be sharing the screen with Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy and Michael Chiklis. The actor’s “Coven” doll playmate, Emma Roberts, is also in talks to return for the fourth season.
