It was a music star extravaganza on the sets of the American Idol finale on Wednesday night including stars like Tom Jones, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert, Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, who sang his famous 'Dream On' classic at the end of the show.
The night came to an end with Scott McCreery, a 16-year-old student from Rossville, GA, winning the coveted AI trophy over Lauren Alania. Over 122 million home viewer votes were cast following Tuesday night's live performance, larger portion of which had been received by McCreery.
