Amy Schumer is off the market. The Hollywood comedienne is apparently in a relationship with chef Chris FIscher, and the two were even spotted enjoying a romantic dinner date in the Big Apple last week.

On Monday, Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that Schumer is indeed dating Fischer and published a photo taken from the new couple’s date night last Tuesday, Nov. 7. In the picture, the 36-year-old actress is seen rocking a red and black patterned button-down top while listening intently to her lover. As for the 37-year-old cookbook author, he is seen sporting a simple black T-shirt as he talks to the funnylady. The atmosphere during the couple’s dinner was quite romantic, for it was candlelit and wine was served to their liking.

This is the first time that Schumer is seen out on a date after splitting from ex-boyfriend Ben Hanisch back in May. It wasn’t known as to when exactly Schumer and Fischer started going out. Both have yet to speak of their romance either. However, it appears their relationship blossomed thanks to the fact that Fischer is the brother of Amy’s assistant, Molly.

Fischer is mostly known for being the chef who runs Beetlebung Farm, which was purchased by his grandfather in Martha’s Vineyard. He was also once the sous chef at Mario Batali’s Manhattan restaurant named Babbo. Fischer is also passionate when it comes to writing. He wrote “Beetlebung Farm Cookbook,” which bagged him a James Beard award last year, and he also writes for the Vineyard Gazette, as per Perez Hilton.

Fischer has a New England restaurant called Beach Plum, which apparently is a favorite of former U.S. President Barack Obama and wife Michelle, as revealed by Esquire magazine in 2013.

Meanwhile, the breakup between Schumer and Hanisch was reportedly amicable. The two were together for almost a year and a half after meeting through a dating app in November 2015. They went public with their relationship in January 2016 and shocked fans when they announced their split this May. “Amy and Ben have ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and remain friends,” Schumer’s rep told People at the time.
