The incredible video of a mountain biker getting bucked by a wild antelope in a South African game reserve has racked up over two million views on YouTube.

Evan van der Spuy, a member of Team Jeep, was participating in a race across the Albert Falls Dam and Game Reserve when he was pounced by a rampaging buck.

Van der Spuy was speeding across an open path as part of the Time Freight MTB Express mountain race outside Pietermaritzburg when the accident occurred.

It was cought on tape by his teammate Travis Wlker, who was wearing a GoPro camera strapped to his mountain bike.

Van der Spuy can be seen pointing and looking off to his right when the Red Hartebeest bounds into the frame and pounces on the 17-year-old cyclist.

Whoa! Walker can be heard yelling as the incident unfolded. Holy cow!

The two crash to the ground and within the blink of an eye, the antelope stumbles up and runs off.

The animal, which can weigh up to 440 lbs., was a completely unexpected obstacle.

I saw it coming closer so I braked, thought it would go in between the gap. It hit him, lifted him off the ground, landed in the grass ... he started making weird noises and I didn't know what to do, Walker told ABC News.

It was being in the right place at the right time and Evan being in the wrong place at the wrong time - one of those moments, Walker added of the amazing footage.

Despite the impact, the mountain biker escaped without serious injury - thanks to his helmet. The video ends with a view of van der Spuy's shattered helmet. Van der Spuy was diagnosed with a minor concussion and whiplash but was discharged by the race's medical team on Monday morning.

As the video spread across several social networking sites, the clip began trending on Twitter with the hashtag #BUCKNORRIS.

Next time warn the riders about the buck as well and not just the rhino because they do damage just as bad, van der Spuy tweeted about the incident.
