In the scandal that keeps gaining momentum, new photos of fallen Congressman Anthony Weiner were published in the National Enquirer today.

The photos were taken by a friend when Weiner was an 18-year-old student at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 1983. In one photo, which ran on the cover of the Enquirer, Weiner is smiling and posing in a bra and pantyhose. In other photos it appears Weiner is oiled up in front of a Christmas tree in swim trunks.

Weiner who's been causing headlines for sending sexually suggestive pictures of his crotch and chest to women he didn't know, made an hour-long public apology a few weeks ago where he said he regretted what he did but would not resign. Weiner will now face a congressional ethics investigation for accidentally posting one of the suggestive photos on Twitter and then lying about it. Weiner said his account was hacked when the photo was first found, but admitted yesterday that the photo was of him and he did indeed take it.

Now it seems Weiner's political future and personal life are up in the air. He was the front-runner for New York City governor and while he assured the public in his apology yesterday that he and his wife of just 11 months, long-time aide to Hilary Clinton Huma Abedin, were still very much together and in love, Abedin has yet to make a public statement.

Abedin, who is pregnant with the couple's first child, has just returned to the U.S. after a trip overseas with Hilary Clinton. It's not known if she has spoken to her husband or if she will make a public statement.
