At least it doesn't show his face.

Days after a special election to replace former New York representative Christopher Lee, who resigned after he was caught sending shirtless photos of himself to a woman he found on Craigslist, Rep. Anthony Weiner appeared to engage in some online flirtation of his own. A young female journalism student received a photo of someone's crotch from Weiner's Twitter account.

The tweet has since been deleted and a Weiner spokesperson said the congressman was the victim of a hacker. The recipient of the tweet penned a lengthy response in which she wrote of being harassed since she started to follow Weiner on Twitter, suggesting that the tweet was Weiner opponents' latest attempts at defaming the Congressman and harassing his supporters. She added that she had never met Weiner, though she was a fan.

Weiner, a devoted Twitter user who is known for his humorous missives, sent out a tweet reading Tivo shot. FB hacked. Is my blender gonna attack me next? #TheToasterIsVeryLoyal. Weiner has become a rising star in the Democratic party, known for his impassioned speeches and his vigorous defense of key party accomplishments like the health care overhaul, and is considered a top candidate to become the next mayor of New York City.
