The cast of MTV’s “Are You the One?” is looking for a different kind of challenge. The Season 3 stars of the experimental dating series recently opened up to International Business Times about their desire to expand their horizons and star on another of the network’s competition series, “The Challenge.”

MTV’s longtime hit series “The Challenge” opened it doors to stars of “Are You the One?” earlier this year on “The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2.” The reality series, which follows several TV personalities as they compete in highly competitive and mind-bending games, previously only starred leads from the network’s “The Real World” and “Road Rules.” Now, with the “AYTO” cast fully incorporated into the show, Season 3 stars Kiki Cooper, Rashida Beach, Hunter Barfield and Alec Gonzalez want their chance at the show’s grand prize.

“Heck, yes,” Kiki, 24, told IBT when asked if she would consider signing up for the series. “I’ve said from the beginning that I have wanted to do ‘The Challenge,’ like, forever.”

Kiki, who has found herself in several love triangles on this season of “AYTO,” says she's optimistic she might get to join the show after discovering Season 1 stars Adam, Brittany, John “JJ” and Simone were featured last season on “Exes 2.” “I was like, there’s hope in this world!” she joked.

And while the “AYTO” challenges may seem like nothing compared to the situations the "Challenge” cast is used to, Kiki says viewers shouldn’t count her out as a competitor. “Don’t pay attention to how I was on the challenges on the show because when it comes to those real challenges, we’ll kick a--!” she said of her and co-star Rashida.

“I’m the littlest one, but I’m really athletic,” Rashida, 23, said. “I want to prove to everyone, like, look, I’m a bitesize boss. OK? To all of my little girls out there, don’t feel like you can’t do something because you’re little. Just go out there and do it!"

And it’s not just the “AYTO” females who want to join the high-adrenaline show. Alec and Hunter said they’re also interested in lending their talents to the adventure series.

“I’m a very athletic, competitive person, and I would love the opportunity to be able to go on ‘The Challenge’ and, you know, kind of exude my athletic ability and my confidence and my competitiveness against some of the other guys on the show,” Hunter, 22, said. “I feel like I would really stand a good chance competing against some of those guys."

While Alec, 22, admitted he’s not so familiar with "The Challenge," he said he would be more than willing to give it a shot. “Absolutely hands down. I’m very competitive as well. I’ve been an athlete all my life. So if that’s what the show’s about, then I see no reason why I wouldn’t do it.”

“Are You the One?” airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on MTV.
