Maria Shriver has filed for divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger and will split around $400 million.

Shriver is seeking joint custody of their two minor sons Patrick and Christopher. Shriver cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the ending their 25-year-old marriage.

Shriver signed the court documents for divorce on June 18, but waited until Friday to send them to Los Angeles Superior Court. Shriver has hired high profile divorce
lawyer Laura Wasser, who also represented Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie.

Arnold, 63, wealth is worth estimated at $300 million, while Maria, 55, wealth is around $100 million, TMZ reported.

However, if Maria divorce Arnold, she could stand to have a much larger check than the last huge celebrity divorce — Elin Nordegren‘s $100 million payday from Tiger
Woods, Hollywood life reported.

The divorce will never go for trail it will be settled out of court.

Maria's lawyer, Laura Wasser, and Arnold's attorney, Bob Kaufman, will be hashing out the property settlement agreement.
