Decisions loom for two big Arsenal names in the offseason. Getty

To little surprise, Arsenal have been overwhelmed this season by injuries to key players, chatter about the fate of manager Arsene Wenger and the chances for the club to reach Champions League as Premier League title aspirations look increasingly bleak.

"I am not looking for jobs at other clubs, or from other people. The club is free to make the decision it wants and I will respect that," said Wenger this weekend when asked about his status with Arsenal. Wenger has been with Arsenal for over two decades and the club's offseason moves will revolve around whether he signs a new contract.

There is a great deal of interest in how the club fares with 12 games remaining and sitting in fifth place in the Premier League. The cloud that hangs over the north London side uncoincidentally includes the potential to bring in reinforcements in the offseason while a crucial player may be on his way out.

Alexis Sanchez, who didn't start in a 3-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, could make his exit from the Emirates this summer. British tabloids have linked the Chilean star to Juventus, A.C. Milan, Sevilla, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. On Saturday, the Sun went as far to say that Sanchez will reject all offers from Arsenal and join Juventus in the summer.

While Sanchez's status with Arsenal may be uncertain, the club may have interest in adding more attacking players. Once again, Alexandre Lacazette has been linked to a move to Arsenal. The Lyon forward, who has enjoyed another solid season, has reportedly been on Arsenal's radar as far back as 2013 but has remained with the French club. There were reports that Lacazette may want to leave the club this summer, but his manager denied it.

Another attacking player that has previously been in reported talks to join Arsenal is Lorenzo Insigne. Like Lacazette, the Napoli winger is 25 years old and has been the subject of intense transfer talk over the years yet has stayed with his present club for several seasons. Insigne has not been linked to other clubs this year aside from Arsenal, while Lacazette has reportedly been on the radar of Liverpool, West Ham United and Atletico Madrid.

There have also been reports that 21-year-old Portuguese striker Andre Silva could join Arsenal. Silva has scored four goals in five appearances for Portugal and has been a key scoring threat for Porto. In August, he signed a five-year contract, which included a €60 million ($63.7 million; £51.8 million) release clause with the top Primeira Liga club.

Perhaps the strangest gossip surrounding Arsenal is the potential addition of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart. Arsenal happened to land former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech in the summer of 2015 but mainly because he wanted to stay in London and was basically nudged out of Stamford Bridge. It seems odd for Arsenal to pursue Hart with so many other options available.
