Hacker collective Anonymous is back in action again and this time it has targeted Web sites hosting child pornography.

The hacker group has claimed that it has shut down more than 40 Web sites for sharing pedophilia and released the names of more than 1,500 alleged users of a website called Lolita City, containing more than 100GB of child pornography.

Some of the user names, released by Anonymous are explicit, while others are just weird and ominous.

According to Anonymous' published timeline of events, posted on text-storing Web site Pastebin, the collective started its campaign on Oct. 14. It said that while browsing a Darknet site called Hidden Wiki, some of its members came across a child pornography index named Hard Candy.

The attack on Web sites hosting child porn was part of Anonymous' Operation Darknet. The Darknet Web sites are part of the Invisible Web, sometimes called the Deep Web, containing content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexed by standard search engines, according to Guardian.

Our demands are simple. Remove all child pornography content from your servers. Refuse to provide hosting services to any website dealing with child pornography. This statement is not just aimed at Freedom Hosting, but everyone on the Internet. It does not matter who you are, if we find you to be hosting, promoting, or supporting child pornography, you will become a target, Anonymous said in the post.

The hacktivist group also noticed that almost 95 per cent of the child pornography listed on the Hidden Wiki shared a digital fingerprint with the shared hosting server at Freedom Hosting, GMA News reported.

According to Anonymous, Freedom Hosting is the host of the largest collection of child pornography on the Internet.

Since the group's warning to remove the illegal content from the hosting server didn't get any attention, it infiltrated the shared hosting server of Freedom Hosting and took down its services to all clients.

Freedom Hosting installed their backups once again on the next day and restored services. It also reportedly refused to pay any attention to Anonymous' warnings to stop the activities.

Despite new security features, we once again infiltrated the shared hosting server at Freedom Hosting and stopped service to all clients, the hacker group said.

Anonymous also posted a YouTube video stating that it intends to kill pedobears everywhere, starting with Freedom Hosting.

If the FBI, Interpol, or other law enforcement agency should happen to come across this list, please use it to investigate and bring justice to the people listed here, the group said.
