First injury has been reported in the largest earthquake that hit Oklahoma State Saturday. One person was injured when his head hit a wall while he was trying to run out of his house during the quake.

The man hit his head against a wall when he tripped and fell while trying to run out of his house, CNN quoted Aaron Bennett on Lincoln County as saying.

No major injuries were reported in the quake, but the 5.6-magnitude shocker blocked some of the major sections of U.S. Route 62.

There's a boulder the size of an SUV in a rural road, Bennett said, noting the quake had left many coping with a lot of broken glass and ceiling tiles.

According to the US Geological Survey, the Saturday night quake struck near the community of Sparks - in eastern Oklahoma between Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

The strongest quake previously reported was of magnitude 5.5 on April 9, 1952, according to the Oklahoma Geological Survey.
