Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa, filed for divorce on Friday after allegedly catching her NBA star husband cheating on her.

TMZ reported that multiple sources have said that Mrs. Bryant very recently caught Mr. Bryant being unfaithful, and that was why she filed for divorce.

The sources didn't tell TMZ exactly how Mrs. Bryant caught her husband. TMZ did note, however, that Mr. Bryant wasn't caught through text message.

We're told Vanessa had caught Kobe with 'multiple women' over the years ... but his latest affair was the straw that broke the camel's back ... and she felt she needed to finally end the marriage, TMZ reported.

Vanessa and Kobe Bryant have been married for 10 years. The two met in 1999 when Vanessa was on a music video set, and they got engaged a year later. They married in 2001 amid reports that the NBA star's parents didn't approve of his relationship with Vanessa.

Mr. Bryant was accused of sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003, just two years into his marriage with Mrs. Bryant. The charges were dropped, and the NBA player denied the allegations, but he publicly admitted to being unfaithful to his wife.

Mrs. Bryant stuck with her husband throughout the scandal and said that he had made a mistake.

In her divorce filing on Friday she cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for leaving Mr. Bryant.

She's been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she's finally had enough, a source told TMZ.

The couple has no pren-up and reports are that Mrs. Bryant will get to keep the couple's mansion in Newport Coast, Orange County, Calif., and possibly half his fortune.

Vanessa and Kobe Bryant have two daughters: Natalia, 8, and Gianna, 5. They have both requested joint custody.
