Updated on Jan. 8 at 12:39 a.m. ET: Beyonce Gives Birth to a Baby Girl, Both Are Doing Fine: Report

Beyonce's baby watch continues. The singer who in September, said that she was six months pregnant is due to give birth soon. The exact date is unknown, but there were reports that she could be giving birth on Wednesday Jan. 4.

MediaTakeOut.com reported that a person close to a member of the Knowles family has revealed that Beyonce WILL give birth on WEDNESDAY. The insider claims that FAMILY have been told that on Wednesday morning they will be taken to the hospital to be a part of the child birth.

Additionally, because of the numerous false reports last week, that Beyonce has already given birth and additional rumors that the singer is looking to check into New York's St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, in order to deliver her baby, the star and her husband Jay-Z are reportedly being very careful with how much information gets to the public.

We're also told that Beyonce and Jay Z FREAKED OUT over our report last week, disclosing that she MAY be giving birth in a NYC hospital, MediaTakeOut reported. They are CONCERNED that there could be a SECURITY THREAT. And so THIS TIME, they are keeping ALL DETAILS confidential.

The urban gossip Web site also reported that Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, doesn't know exactly where Beyonce's baby's birth will take place.

Very Private Couple

That not much information is being leaked to the public isn't surprising. Beyonce and Jay-Z, though two of the most famous people on the world, are actually extremely private. They are private about their marriage and only share what details they need to. The two also hardly talk about their marriage beyond that they love each other very much.

The couple is heading into their fourth year of marriage this year.

Marriage between the two was speculated for years. However, it wasn't until 2008 that the media was almost sure they were on to something. In April of that year, People.com reported that a friend of the couple confirmed that Beyonce and Jay-Z did, in fact, tie the knot. However, the couple was hush hush on whether they did get married.

The source told People on April 4, 2008, that It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair - close friends and family.

Among those reportedly invited to what was described as a lavish party at Jay-Z Tribeca apartment were Tina Knowles, Beyonce's father Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and the friends such as Gwyneth Paltrow, according to People.

Reports of the two being married were sparked by the fact that a marriage licence was filed with New York authorities, possibly confirming the nuptials.

Been an item since 2002

The media has long reported that Beyonce and Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, were an item since 2002. They have recorded many popular duos together. They most famous being the worldwide No. 1 Crazy in Love. But still they couple said nothing.

Tight-lipped on pregnancy

Like her marriage, it was long speculated also, that Beyonce was pregnant. But neither of the two would confirm those reports. At least, not until they wanted to.

For months Beyonce hid her pregnancy from the world. She would continue performing, making hits songs and music videos until Aug. 28, 2011 when she attended the MTV Video Music Awards and told paparazzi that she had a surprise for them. The stunning Texas-born singer strutted the red carpet in a beautiful red outfit that hugged her curves and could be seen holding her tummy just as coyly as an expectant mother would.

Later that day, Beyonce gave a smashing performance of Love on Top, then unbuttoned the sparkly jacket she was wearing and rubbed her tummy. That motion was all it took for the world to know that Beyonce was pregnant. The crowd went crazy and the camera cut to a jubilant Jay-Z who was being congratulated by Kanye West.

When asked by Katie Couric why she decided to reveal her pregnancy in that fashion, Beyonce replied, News that's that big it is hard to hide and keep to yourself.

She also told Couric that she felt so liberated and I felt like I can breathe and be happy. It was a beautiful feeling. I went straight off the stage and just cried. I hugged my mom and hugged Jay and just cried.

Weeks after the announcement of the pregnancy, Beyonce also had to tackle fake pregnancy rumors after her tummy allegedly collapsed while on an Australian interview set.

You know, there are certain things that are so far, it doesn't even upset you, Beyonce told Couric. My mother, she is like 'Nobody's talking about my grandbaby. My grandbaby is not even here yet. I don't like it!' I'm like calm down, mom. It's OK. It's really silly. My mom is really protective and so is my sister. But I'm cool. It's so ridiculous and over the top.

Will the public see baby pictures?

Now that it has been established that the singer is close to her due date, the next thing fans and the media want to know is whether they will ever get a chance to see pictures of Beyonce and Jay-Z's first child.

With the couple being so private, the Huffington Post reported that the couple won't show their baby on the cover of a celebrity weekly.

They are one of the most private couples, a magazine editor told the Huffington Post, adding that several offers were made to Beyonce's team for exclusive pictures of the mother and baby but there has been no response.

The Huffington Post also reported that an industry insider has said that the couple has a net worth of more than $700 million.

If Beyonce and Jay-Z do decide to share their child with the world, they will probably go the same route as Tom Cruise and Katie [Holmes], Huffington Post reported being told by the editor. Instead of selling the images to a weekly publication, they would give them away for nothing to lock in a cover of a monthly like Vanity Fair. But knowing this couple, it is unlikely we will ever see a staged picture of the child.
