The iPhone Dev-Team has brought a good news for Windows users, by releasing a CLI tool update - CLI 0.4.3 that helps Windows users jailbreak their iPhone 4S or iPad 2 with Absinthe and making the "-j" jailbreak option much more functional.
The hacker MuscleNerd tweeted, "See update 3 http://is.gd/boaaBU for CLI 0.4.3 (including Win version). Fully functional A5 JB for Win+OSX CLI tinkerers :)"
"In many cases, the Win/OSX CLI can jailbreak it too (see the -j option). But yes, its purpose is for overall debug," MuscleNerd added.
According to Tech&Trend's research, many users were stumpeed at step "-j payloads". Users said it works until creating a backup, then users will receive the following message:
recv : bad file descriptor
FATAL<__LINE__>: Assertion failed <1266>: got == sizeof 1266
