The 2012 Super Bowl is set to air this Sunday, Feb. 5, on NBC. The highly anticipated game will feature a re-match between the New England Patriots led by Tom Brady and the New York Giants led by Eli Manning. The two teams faced off in the 2008 Super Bowl as well.

The game is set to start at 6:30 EST or 5:30 CST. The game will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. The face off between the Giants and Patriots can be watched on NBC or streamed online on the NFL's Web site. NBC will begin live coverage of the game online at 2 p.m. The pre-game ceremonies and commentary will begin around 4 p.m.

The Super Bowl XLVI halftime show will feature Madonna, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A, among others. In the pre-game ceremonies, Kelly Clarkson will sing the national anthem and husband-wife duo, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, will sing America the Beautiful.

The Super Bowl has become an American tradition. In 2011, the Super Bowl broke U.S. television records when approximately 111 million viewers watched the Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.

For those headed to Indianapolis, the average price for tickets to the Super Bowl XLVI was $4,000 for fans who missed the initial offering of tickets at $800 to $1,200. For those at home, Super Bowl Sunday will include buffalo wings, chips and dip, nachos and other classic American game-time food. The Huffington Post estimates that $1.25 billion-worth of chicken wings will be eaten on Sunday.

The classic American tradition will also feature hundreds of eye-catching, funny, clever and sexy commercials. With over 100 million viewers estimated to watch the game on TV this Sunday, 30-second ads for the Super Bowl game were sold for approximately $3.5 million each. Many ads, commercials and teasers for the 2012 Super Bowl have already been released from companies through the U.S. from Go Daddy to Honda. Marketers hope to spark pre-game buzz by releasing teasers and partial clips of the upcoming ads. Companies will try to engage younger viewers by posting material on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube both before Super Bowl Sunday and during the game.

Fans looking for detailed team stats, a live stream, play-by-play commentary, a history of the Super Bowl, or reruns of the top Super Bowl commercials will be pleased to know that there is an appropriate app for every sport fans' desire.
