The new 3D trailer for director Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man reboot has arrived online, and from the first look, the two-and-a-half minute long footage looks quite impressive.

The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz and Irrfan Khan, swings back to the origins of Spider-Man as he uncovers a secret about his parents.

Ever since Peter's parents disappeared, he has struggled to find his purpose in life. Now, on the brink of uncloaking the mystery about what happened to them, he must face the ultimate challenge - one that has been created within the laboratories of Oscorp, reads a description of the character of Peter Parker on the movie's official Web site.

The trailer gives a good glimpse of the villain, Dr. Curt Connors or The Lizard, (Rhys Ifans) and his action-packed collision with the Spider-Man.

A close friend of Peter Parker's father, Connors is one of Oscorp's leading scientific minds. He attempts to create a revolutionary regeneration serum to help re-grow limbs and human tissue. He elects himself to be the first human test subject - but what becomes evident is that something goes horribly wrong, and thus emerges as the The Lizard.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the eyes of Gwen Stacy, played by Emma Stone, tell a different story. The chief intern at Oscorp, Stacy is smart, charismatic and rebellious. But her life is made to take a complicated turn as she has to watch her boyfriend Peter Parker and her mentor Dr. Connors undergo radical transformations.

The Amazing Spider-Man will arrive in theaters in 3D on July 3 this summer. Watch the new trailer and the teaser of the Spiderman reboot below.
