Most 21-year-old women would dream of fame, fortune ... and free lingerie. But for former Victoria's Secret model Kylie Bisutti, faith comes first. According to Fox, the young starlet is hanging up her Angel wings to adhere to her Christian beliefs.

Victoria's Secret was my absolutely biggest goal in life, and it was all I ever wanted career-wise, she told FOX411's Pop Tarts column. But the more I was modeling lingerie, and lingerie isn't clothing, I just started becoming more uncomfortable with it because of my faith. I'm Christian, and reading the Bible more, I was becoming more conflicted about it.

Bisutti, who began her career has a Victoria's Secret model at the age of 19, said that the path her career was taking made her rethink the message she was sending to fans.

My body should be only for my husband and it's just such a sacred thing, she said to Fox. I didn't really want to be that kind of role model for younger girls because I had a lot of younger Christian girls that were looking up to me and then thinking it was okay for them to walk around and show their bodies in lingerie to guys.

Twitter users seemed to support and admire Bisutti's choice.

Such an awesome article for any model thinking about changing morals, said one tweet that linked to a news article about Bisutti.

I look up to this woman! Kylie Bisutti quit Victoria's Secret because it clashed with her Christian faith, read another.

When speaking to ABC News, Bisutti said one horrifying experience with her younger cousin played a role in her decision to quit modeling.

I was doing my makeup in the mirror one day and she was just watching me, Bisutti said to ABC of her 8-year-old cousin. She just looked at me and she was like, 'You know, I think I wanna stop eating so that I can look like you. And it just broke my heart. She looks up to me and I didn't wanna be that type of person that she thought she had to do that to be beautiful.

However, Fox also reported that Bisutti intends to stay in the entertainment industry, and will be working on a new show to air on the CW channel in September.
