Though she might look ethereal, Megan Fox is really a down-to-earth girl who just so happens to have exceptional good looks and mega-celebrity.

Her life with husband Brian Austin Green is decidedly normal. The couple takes low-key vacations and looks forward to having children together someday. They met on the set of ABC's Hope & Faith. I was too young to remember 'Beverly Hills,' so I didn't know who he was. But I knew I was instantly in love, Fox said. They married in 2010.

They even go to church regularly, a value instilled in Fox from her years in Christian school.

She attends a church that is not judgmental, does not close its doors to anybody, and has a young, active, passionate congregation, which is how I like to experience church, she told Manhattan magazine. Religion is still central in her life despite the fact that she has some challenges with it. I've always been intrigued and repulsed by how divisive and hateful different Christian denominations are to one another despite their obvious commonalities and interconnections.

In her leisure time she likes to watch the History Channel. Surely you know one of my favorite shows is 'Ancient Aliens'? she asked. She even has some conspiracy theories of her own, Come on! You don't think everything that's learned is released to the public, do you?

Fox still has a soft-spot for comic books, which stems from childhood. Some of her favorites include Gen 13, a series about a team of five super-powered teenagers and their mentors, and Witchblade, about a female NYPD homicide detective with super powers.

If Fox were a comic book heroine, she would want her super power to be invisibility. It's how you gain the most advantage, at least in practical situations. I would also need super strength, but that's a given, she said.

Of course, this normal life is anything but normal. Megan Fox is one of the most popular and most-drooled-after starlets in Hollywood today. Next up, she will star in Friends with Kids alongside Kristen Wiig and Jon Hamm, out March 9; and she will make a cameo in Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator, out May 11.

Though her resume has taken its fair share of criticism, Fox does not regret one thing. I'd rather be with good people in a bad movie than the other way around, she told Manhattan.
